• Be aware of occasional bacteria warnings if surfing near Deal Lake.

Belmar

• 8th Ave Jetty (North)
  1. Existing wood pilings remain from a pipe that was removed at some point. They mostly line up with the tall flag pole by Playa Bowl. Go at low tide to see location before surfing here as it pretty much lines up with where you finish the wave. Only an issue when riding back to the sand.
  2. Existing wood pilings close to southmost end of Taylor Pavilion in Belmar. Only visible at low tide.
• 8th Ave Jetty (South)
  1. Existing mast of shipwreck to the North of the jetty. Only visible at low-mid tide. There’s a left that breaks that will take you right by it, use caution.
• 16th Ave Jetty (IIRC) has a rock further to the left of the jetty than you’d expect

Sea Girt

The small jetty to the right of Philadelphia ave can be mostly covered at high tide
